I have a HL-R5067W 4 year old DLP TV. Lamp indicator blinks but the TV does not come on. Lamp stays on for 15 seconds along with fan running and then it turns itself off. I do not hear any typical "chime" nosie when turn the power on either. Also, lamp door switch postion has no impact whether it is up or down. Help.....

Has the lamp ever been replaced? If not, it's time.

Could be. For example: Three years at 6 hrs/day = 6000 Hrs which is quite a bit. Lamp is always the first thing to try on DLP. You will need one sooner or later.
