Is there any significant difference in picture quality between OTA HD and FIOS HD for the same channels that would be visible on a 70" RPTV or 119" front projector screen?

No, since FIOS justs retransmits the alrady encoded signal that it receives from the OTA broadcaster.

Cableco's run fiber to the stations or use a big antenna at the headend. Don't know if Verizon does the same.
