I really hope someone can help me.

I had my Optoma HD65 working for some 6 months. Then I bought an Xbox 360, and started to play Halo 3, it asked me to switch to 60Hz, and I did. Right away the screen on my projector turned black and white, and a few seconds later the projector just stopped working!!!

Now when I start the projector, it will try to start up, I can even hear the fan and everything, but it cannot. And after maybe 30s, the "light-bulb-lab" (red light) is put on...

I'm desperate... And I cannot find the receipt...

Do I have to buy a new lamp/a new projector?

Patience my friend... it's Saturday night and I suspect many have better things to do then screen the forums. haha...

I don't yet own a projector, but from what it sounds like, i would guess your bulb just died. You may want to post this in the HD65 thread and see if it gets better notice there since people who subscribe to that threat may only look at that thread.

I would remove the bulb and put it back in first, then if nothing call optoma. Wish I had more for you I have an HD65 and have never had that happen. Good Luck
