Hi
It's a priority to me, that the media player I will buy plays 24p correctly, i.e. 23,97(6) frames/second.
For the various players I have looked into, I have found it hard to verify if the player playes 23,97(6) correctly. Specifications rarely mention this specifically nor have I found a players list of this.
Some of you probably have this knowledge in your heads and others probably seek the same information. So why don't we make a list here.
I have added a 24,000 frames row as some (very) few films actually are recorded in that speed, and it can tell of wrongly implemented 24p (not doing 23,97) as the WDTV.
Please quote in the info needed. And add players not in the list that you would like to be there. I'll try to update the main post accordingly.
NOTE, let's keep the list to what the players actually do with official implemented firmware and not promises of future functionality.
List updated: August 24th 2009.
