Anyone have this problem: I've got a WD HDTV Media player hooked up to my 67" sammie via HDMI. For some reason, when viewing many avi's, mpg's, and mkv's, the screen will lose the video, and the message displayed says Invalid Mode. I've changed HDMI cables, and made adjustments to the WDTV and the sammie with no luck.

I am wondering if I have a problem with my set. Before I call Samsung I thought I'd check here first. Will also post this in the Media Streamer section.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

Invalid Mode normally means you are sending a resolution over the HDMI interface that the TV will not accept over HDMI, Check the PC chapter in your Samsung user's manual for the list of resolutions that it will accept over HDMI. It may only accept 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i amd 1080p/24 or even a subset of this list depending on the specific model of Sasmsung DLP.
