Thanks in advance for the help.

I’m looking to add a projector in my restaurant for the upcoming football season but I’m not sure where to start. I need advice on what projector screen and anything else I may need.

I'm not an expert but I've seen plenty of terrible projector installs in restaurants and bars. They are rarely bright enough, don't hold up to the poor air quality in such places (dust, grease, smoke, etc), and are usually installed on the "cheap".

I would avoid the "home theater" type projectors typically discussed here. Aim high on build quality, warranty, lumens, contrast, and screen size.

Again, I'm no expert but I would study these "industrial" Panasonics that are 4000 lumens and above.

A popular chain of sports bars here in Houston has replaced all their old projectors with Viewsonic PJD6240 units. They seem to perform well for them.

What is your price range? You should look at very bright combo projectors which ae usually 1280x800 resolution.

I think i know what bar you're talking about because there is a chain in dallas that is using these same projectors in all their restaurants. They are projecting on a Grey screen as well to add some additional contrast to the projector. The bar is really bright too and i have no problem watching any of the games on this projector even at 120" 3200 lumens is plenty bright for the normal restaurant style lighting (especially in the lower light of a bar). Just a note. Since its 1024x768 native res, don't bother upgrading to HD, cause you wont need it. The samsung D400 is similar specs and 4000 lumens if you need it a little brighter (which you might if you're restaurant is well lit).

I'd pay attention to what chain restaurants do in this case. They don't use HT PJs because of all the ambient light and its cheaper to run non-hd signal to them.

It may be cheaper to run SD to them, but they opted for HD. All of the projectors are running Component from the sat receivers.
