I need help selecting a 5.1 system with the following constraints:
I have a room with 8ft ceilings (approx 35ft long by 12 ft wide).
My budget is ~$600 for the speakers and ~400-500 for the receiver (or ~$1100 total, maybe up to ~1200 :) ).
I would like the system to match (at least be all the same brand).
I need the system to be bookshelf (no towers).
I would like the most bang for my buck (obviously).
I'll be watching 50% HD TV, 40% DVD movies, & 10% Xbox 360.

What I've looked at so far:
Energy Take Classic (decided too week, and can get better for a couple hundred more).

Energy C Series Setup: 4 C-50's, 1 Center channel C-C50. However, these are being discontinued and I'm having trouble finding them online for cheap.

Klipsch Cinema 10 (4 RSX-5's & 1 RSX-4 center channel). I'm discourage with the low frequency range coverage (92HZ), will this be an issue.

Sub: Energy ESW-V10....could really use some advice here.

Receiver: Pioneer 1019-AH (I'm pretty sold on this...)

I found a good deal on the Klipsch Cinema 10 for $525, but that doesn't leave me a lot left for the sub.

Any help would be appreciated! I'm really excited to pull the trigger on my first system, but need some advice.

My advice,... Slow down, don't pull that trigger too fast :)
That's a pretty big room for that budget. Do a lot of research here and other places. These folks will be able to point you in the right direction.
I'd say spend more on the sub, less on the receiver and use whats left for the speakers. I'd also suggest starting with a decent pr. of good speakers and add the rest later. But, that's just me.
