Hey guys, I was looking for a projector around $500, I think I'd max at about $650 or so. I can't really seem to decide on one so I thought I might ask around for some suggestions. I was looking at the Epson 700, but that's a bit out of my price range, any idea if that will come down any time soon?

There are multiple choices, however, you currently can get the Epson 700 new for only 49 more than your max, or as a refurb (with 2-year warranty) direct from the manufacturer for 99 more than your low-end.

Be a dedicated shopper and look around closely.

Over two years ago we bought our Panasonic PJ at a close out store for $600 at a time when they were selling on retail store shelves for around $2000.

It had been a floor demo at a CostCo store with just 88 hrs on the lamp so I took a chance and bought it - no warranty - just a GREAT price and it is still working day after day.
