Been using TVersity for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it but up until recently I've been using it for SD content only. Today I tried transcoding a 720p rip of Resident Evil Degeneration (backed up from a purchased copy don't worry) and TVersity crashed. Afterward I got a "Cannot connect to media server" error that persisted even after I closed and restarted the program. The only thing that got it working again was a complete restart. I checked the settings and everything should work, I've got the maximum video resolution set at 1280x720 the exact resolution of the video.
I don't think it's my computer either. I've got a 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo, nVidia 8600GT m, and 2GB of DDR2 RAM. I was under the impression that was sufficient for streaming 720p video. Everything's running on a wired 100mbs network as well so that shouldn't be the problem.
I'm stumped and a little annoyed, any advice as to what's going wrong? The video was compressed as H.264 in an MKV container and is being transcoded into MPEG-2. I'm certain I have the proper codecs as well.
