I know this has been answered before, but I couldn't make out the solution from pages and pages of posts.
My Sony KV32HS510 acts like it's turning on but doesn't. The standby button blinks 6 times continuously. It just started this off and on the other day but now it's constant.
Which part needs replacing? Where in the set is the part? Where can I order it online and how much is it?
Thank you in advance for your help!

It is probably an AKB board or horizontal/vertical display or high voltage current---one of these 3 things---I had one and it was the akb board.

I found another thread somewhere else and they said replacing the 2 MCZ3001DB ICs would fix it.
Can someone that has had this problem verify it?
Thanks!
Hi there
I found another thread somewhere else and they said replacing the 2 MCZ3001DB ICs would fix it.
If you search this forum, you'll find a huge, 26+ page thread on this topic.
Can someone that has had this problem verify it?
There is no guaranteed fix.
Replacing the two MCZ3001D(B) has about a 90% success rate for fixing the 6/7 blink issue.
For my friends, it was worth risking $17 and having me replace the chips in their KV-32HS510.

You should look at the topic mentioned above Sony Blinks topic (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=928945) The MCZ chips are inexpensive (see bdent.com) and a good success rate. My 32HS510 and 34HS510 needed them. Page 4 of the topic shows pictures and the last 8 pages of the topic have some too. Good luck, with care, you can fix it.

The ICs fixed the problem. Thanks!
