It looks like an update to the G25 wheel.
I'm wanting to upgrade from my DFGT wheel but am still wondering if there will be another wheel introduced with Gran Turismo 5 as has been the case with other GT releases.

I doubt it, they already released a ps3 specific wheel. In addition the gt branded ones are always a lower spec than the pc end. (before momo now g series)

That said I would get a gt3rs from fanatec the clubsport pedals are awesome.

Yup, I want one of those big dogs myself. I kinda wish I could get one that was compatible with xbox too, although I know that's out of logitech's hands.

i have the PS3 specific wireless wheel from Fanatec, and although it is a nice wheel it has reliability issues. one of the paddle shifters on my wheel doesn't feel as nice as the other anymore, the one has a nice solid click to it and the other doesn't anymore. something in the gearing is making a nasty clicking noise when i turn quickly to the right. this is the only wheel i have ever used. at first i thought it was the greatest thing, but lately i am having second thoughts. the force feedback feels great, very smooth. it has a very nice feel to it.

i contacted the manufacturer by email and they said they will repair or replace it, but i have to pay shipping to get it to them. it still works and everything so i'm not going to hassle to send it back to get it back to 100% i'll either use it till it finally is unusable and then probably replace it with the G27.

oh and the clubsport peddles will not work with their PS3 wheel. only with a computer or xbox.

a nice video review of the G27

http://insidesimracing.tv/

they seem to like it. they say it's a minor improvement over the old G25, but not a huge leap forward.

Yeah, I think I've seen that before but I forgot that it was also compatible with the 360. I guess my question is how it holds up to the better wheels.

Mcjasonb, thanks for the info. I'll check out Fanatec too.

Uh no, where did you hear that. They plug into the wheel or through usb.

Insidesimracing has a review of the gt3rs and other than the plug n play they rate it higher in every category than the g27.

the wireless wheel for the playstation does not work with the clubsport peddles. the more expensive GT3rs does work with them. i have the wireless wheel. i have seen the review comparing the wheel i have to the G25 and my wheel beats it.

the issues i have been having are not making me to happy of a camper right now though.
