So use one of the various calibration discs and get the best settings for your set in your environment.

You're better off asking within a thread already existing for your display.

:

Do you have Blu-ray or DVD? Google for DVE HD Basics, Spears and Munsil, GetGray, Avia, etc. A number of Pixar discs come with basic setup screens to use. Any of these will be far better than copying settings from another person. Don't rent the discs though as you will need the blue filter to get full use from the disc. Good luck. :)

Yes, I have a PS3 which I use constantly for gaming and Blu-Ray and normal DVD's...I have that with HDMI.

^^Would that work? The DVE HD said it only worked for HD players not Blu-Ray.

Also...how often should I run this disc? Does it only set up the PS3...and not for HD cable/direct TV?

Thanks a lot!
