Ive been hearing that the KRP-500M will NOT accept the signal from my laptop screen (1920x1080) over hdmi. I find this very hard to believe though... does anyone know if it can accept PC signals that are full HD?
Also a pioneer manager told me that "there is no need to buy a patch to unlock ISFccc modes on the KRP-500M, because someone on AVS forums will tell you the code to unlock the mode"... I also find this very hard to believe. Isnt that against the forum rules or something or is he telling the truth?

Anyone??? I really need help...
I feed mine from my HTPC via HDMI with no problem. I have the input set to video, not PC however.

I was not able to get 1080p from an HTPC (DVI output) to the 500M through an Onkyo receiver of recent vintage, but everything worked fine when I connected the HTPC directly to the second HDMI input of the 500M (the first HDMI was driven by the Onkyo). So as far as I know, you should have no problems.
Oddly, the 1080p HDMI output of a PS3 passed through the Onkyo to the 500M OK.

Everyone has yet to find the person who knows the game genie code to unlock ISFccc.

More directly, yes, he was lying, don't believe anyone here would do that. Nor would I think it would be allowed.

If there was a code to be disclosed it's not clear that such disclosure would be against the rules. I suspect this person was simply confused or misinformed and just repeated the misinformation.
