Lumis finally sent me the replacement for my T3 projector to solve the integrator rod issue.
Thanks to Dennis to press Sim into getting this delivered and ensuring that the convergence and uniformity is spot on.
We installed this along with reinstalling the port glass while we had the chance to do this since projector was down.
Also was replaced the 12 foot wide 2:35 Stewart Studiotek 1.3 gain At screen thanks to Jason at Avs on his patience for me returning the original screen while I waited for the Lumis all these months.
The Lumis was off 1 full red pixel vertically…. In the service Menu near all the vertical and horizontals were set as zero from factory except red which was set at 1.
As soon as I made it zero my convergence at the center is dead perfect (I feel so much better).
I can see perfect convergence if I see from center to half of the left and right area of the screen then the red pixel starts to show up and at the extreme left and right I am less than 0.5 pixel off red…. Horizontal converge is dead on everywhere.
I couldn’t have asked for more with respect to convergence but I might play with the intimidating pattern in Service Menu to get the extremities converged.
I do not know how to observe the uniformity but trust it is good.
I did input the same readings as my previous calibration done by Jeff Meir of Accucal but the picture is not as good as previous Lumis. I checked with Jeff Meir and he said this is because we need to calibrate this piece.
Good thing he will be in Houston in December.
The timing of this projector arriving was good as my previous projector the light (head part) head would not turn on last few days after a power outage (even though it was on Richard gray Power), I am suspecting since the host was on ups but the head was not they lost contact.
For this projector we have both host and head on the Ps Audio power play with UPS.
So far the host looks to be as quirky as previous but it could be because I have the Radiance in the chain software version of Lumis is 3.14.08 F.
I plan to get the Radiance out of my system when I get my theta Casablanca updated to HDMI later this year and this will also involve crestron programming.
I can confirm that the integrator Rod issues are gone.

What was the symptom of the integrator rod issue? I forgot if you posted previously.

Thanks, Scott

Shadows at the upper corners of the image. Very noticeable on white fields or homogenous colored images like blue skies, fade outs, etc.
