In my origional post I described the problem of black horizontal lines every 4 inches on either side of my screen. They never go away but do fade with time.
IMO- I believe it is the Main board that controls the video processing that is the culprit. I can go into the service menu and run the test patterns for the DMD board and they all look fine. I can replace the Main Board for less then $200. All the DMD boards come minus the DLP chip that I can't seem to find a part number for much less for sale anywhere.
Does anyone agree or do you think I am just taking a shot in the dark on this issue? Thanks.

If you are sure the internal test patterns don't show the problem, then yes replace the digital.
