Hello all, I am seeking some assistance with a Mitsubishi WD-62627.
The TV is three and a half years old and had no video last Sunday morning. After about three minutes the Lap led came on solid red and the TV shut down.
I ordered a lamp assembly from an online vendor and installed the lamp last night. The TV came up with no problems but since we had been increasing the brightness over the last six months to compensate for the lamp the picture was too bright.
I used the remote to get to the menu and move to Audio/Video to adjust the brightness. However when I pressed the Enter button there was no response and the TV just locked up. After about three minutes the TV powered off and the Power led flashed for about two minutes.
I turned the TV back on and repeated the process with the same results.
The TV seems to be functioning except for the inability to select options from the menu (I also tried Setup with the same results).
Is there something I am missing or need to reset?
Thanks for any assistance.
Lester
