Hopefully this is the right forum to ask :)
I've been slowly building my HT room and i'm down to the last step, Projector and Screen. Due to limited space and low ceilings (Basement), i have max room for 100" 16:9 screen.. The screen will be manual pull-down screen, i already have a 47"LG and all my speakers, they are flushed/inside the wall, the screen will come down in front of them. I left a cavity in the in the ceiling where the screen will mount, so all of it will be out of the way when not in use.When i first designed the wall, was to have a 92In screen, placement of speakers was just outside the screen, so sound wouldn't be blocked. I'm wondering if i get a 100" screen, half the speaker would be covered, would i have a problem with screen moving from the sound/vibration from speakers?
I have narrow it down to Sanyo z3000 projector and GrandView Cyber screen, the projector calculator says with distance to screen 14ft i would be ok with this combination, i'm worried about the height of the ceiling 6'4", would this setup work? Anything i should be doing differently?
The Picture show's the center sorround on top, i now have in-wall center that will go below the screen.
I've never setup a projector/screen, want to make sure this would work.
