My Sony KF-50WE610 is completely broken. Are there toxic materials in these or can I throw it in the dumpster at work?

If your going to dump it may I suggest the driveway of one of these useless Sony reps that refuse to stand behind there product.

The lamp contains mercury, so should be recycled. Otherwise the rest is just plastic and a little metal.

Haha, I am actually quite pleased with them. I bought that TV for $300 a year ago. They 'exchanged' it for the melting lamp door issue. I now have a free refurbished KDL-52S5100 sitting in its place.
