Getting mixed feedback on these units. Some posts talk about the unit serving up a DVD that has to be manually loaded into a player while other posts talk about being able to use the USB port and a PC to read the DVD for batch ripping.

Looking for a way to covert 500+ DVDs to soft copy backups and would like to automate the process if possible. Would the Ziotek be something that could be utilized to do this with? Any software recommendations that would support batch processing?
