Hi, im remodeling a house, and making an expansion so i can accomodate my hometheater, sadly my room is not huge, but i think i could make a pretty cool space of it. The dimensions are 4.78 meters X 6.20 meters. The door is going on the smallest wall because im entering from my dinning area. Also one of the 6.20 walls is all of glass , tried not doing this, but is a no go without it. I currently have a panasonic ae2000 projector with a 16:9 100 in fixed frame screen that i already own. Have build my main speakers and center( Mini Statements and statements center channel) ill like if you could help me with the desing , ill like to have a bar, with my sofa(maybe some reclining chairs instead) and a game table. (its also my den, so need to acomodate friends for superball etc.) sorry dont have the sketch right now, but with the description is easy, also want to see where to accomodate the equipment, thanks

Well Milll...that is a simple sketch alright...lol. Your room actually looks PERFECT...good dimension, doors in the rear, etc...except for 2 things:

1- didn't you say one of the long, 20' wall, is ALL glass? Ouch...that's tough to deal with in an HT...and

2- while the room is almost perfect size for an HT, I don't see also getting a Bar and Gameroom (what the hell is Superball?) in there.

I'd say we'll definitely need some pics, and that you might be looking at more of an all-purpose Media Room than an HT. Maybe start looking here http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forumdisplay.php?f=15 too.

Actually after some reflection I would make the riser 4 1/2 ft deep and cut off the corner (at a 45) facing the game table.

yes, the one of the wall is of glass, my intention is to make a den/media Room. ill use windows treatments for the glass wall. no pictures, im constructing it, its an expansion of the house
