Hi all,
Sorry for the newb ?, but I purchased a 2nd 360 for my kids and would like to know if it's possible to install all my DLC from my Elite to the new 360 or do I have have to purchase them over again on the new console? Example, we have 2 copies of COD WaW and I have all 3 map packs on my elite, can I transfer them to the new console or have to re purchase the map packs?
Thanks in advance

You can transfer/re-download your content free yes. BUT: It will only work if the profile that purchased it is used online. That means you can't make an Xbox Live account for your kids and them use the content from your existing account. They can however play with your existing account with no trouble. Throw your gamertag on a memory card and swap it back and forth.

If you move the content from the xbox 360 it was originally purchased on then the gamertag that the content was purchased with will have to be signed on to XBL to use it. Now this is where things will become a pain...For what you want to do you will have to repurchase it. Problem comes is that you can just rebuy it on the gamertag you bought it on the first time because it says you bought it so you only have a download again option. You will have to get another gamertag to buy and download it. You would have to use a gold or sliver XBL account to purchase it for the other console.
I understand why they do this but it makes it a pain for those that have kids of nieces and nephews they play with like me.
