Experience with SeatCraft seats?

I am in the Chicago area and hoping to try out the SeatCraft brand before ordering. Specifically the Lorenzo or Vesta models?

I have a set of conditions that seems to be limiting my choices.

1) We really prefer microfiber,

2) and we have a basement stairwell with a 90* turn, this requires that we find seating with removable backs

3) Looking to get 2 rows, front row is 4 across with loveseat or armless seats in the middle.

Cuz, don't the Berklines also come in microfiber (maybe hit up Roman/rsh for more info)? If so, their backs are separate.

Yep - I believe this is still an option.

I had a brief email exchange with Roman on this possibility. I seem to remember him saying "special order" (which in my mind often translates into higher $$'s).

I don't mind paying extra for quality and superior service. Therefore; I will have Roman on my short list before I pull the trigger. For now; I am shopping to learn all options and price points

Special (custom) order does not necessarily mean higher $$...
