I purchase my Berklines from Roman a little over a year ago and wonder about treating them with some sort of leather conditioner or cleaner. What does everybody recommend? Most of them really don't get much use, but the misses and mine do.

I thought that Roman once recommended just mild soap and water?

A wet rag is pretty much all you need. If you have a spill or a stain, then a little Joy dishwashing detergent can help. If it is the bonded or bicast or whatever crap, then just use a wet rag.

My dad was in the leather buisness for 45 years and the best leather conditioning product out there is LEXOL. I have been using it for years it is tremendous stuff and it really works:

This is what you want to order (buy the large bottle and it will last for a VERY long time.):

I use Zaino leather cleaner and their leather conditioner in my truck and highly recommend it.
