Greetings,

I presently have a Krell DVD Showcase and I am quite happy with the
outstanding picture, depth of field, and rich colors it displays.

Yes I know it's not BluRay but I have a huge DVD collection.

I wanted to ask if anyone has compared the Krell DVD Standard to
the Krell DVD Showcase. I see Krell DVD Standards second hand for
$1000 quite often so I am tempted to get one if it is better and move
my Showcase to the bedroom.

So my questions are:

1. Does the Krell DVD Standard have a significantly better picture than the Showcase??

2. Does the Krell DVD Standard have significantly better Redbook sound?

3. Does the Krell DVD Standard suffer from transport failures like the SACD Standard did?

Yes I know the EVO 525 is the current Krell DVD model but it is too spendy
for me right now.

Thanks..
Tom

Sorry.. I posted this to the wrong forum. Can one of the moderators
move my post to the correct forum. I saw the "Hi-End HT Gear" but
missed the $20,000+ part.

my apologies..
