I am about to go crazy!! I purchased a 120 Gig Xbox 360 hard drive off of Ebay and it doesn't come with the migration kit. I have searched EVERYWHERE and I can find no way to get the official Microsoft kit to transfer the data to the new hard drive. Does anyone know how or where I can get one? Thanks!

After some brief research with Google, just call them at 1-800-4MYXBOX and ask for it.

Some forums (like this one: http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=27020209) seem to say there are two versions of the kit now (a separate one if you have a 60GB drive) and they are charging your $12 for it now.

I would just call and ask for one. The only form I could find was for Europe and the Middle East.

As mproper said call and ask for one. I think it was a week or so ago they stated that on Major Nelson's podcast to call to get the transfer kit.

do you have to provide them a serial # of the new HDD for them to send it to you?

I was wondering if I could call ahead to MS to get the cable, and then buy the HDD at the store when the cable arrives

They didn't require serial # when i sent for one. I just wrote in that new drive was being delivered and had the kit in a couple of days.
