Just thought i would start this thread. I am a big basketball fan.....well along with all sports, and was looking forward to the demo. I downloaded it this morning before work and played one game. Seems MUCH improved to me!! Love the player control and the ball handling control. Cant wait to get home and play some more.

This game should be getting more love. Played the demo today and have to say it's lightyears ahead of 09 and I didn't think 09 was all that bad. Not great but not bad. But 10 is definitely on another level than 09. If 11 makes as much progress as 10 has made then it will be the ultimate bball sim.

I've been getting mixed reviews on various forums but I must say I enjoyed it thoroughly. The controls are deeper than they first appear, once you figure them out you're rewarded with some great offensive moves. The lead designer for the 2k series migrated over to Live this year, so I expect the competition between Live and 2k to heat up over the coming years. Which for the consumer of course is a great thing.

The really good thing is that the players feel different. I took several turns with both the Lakers and magic, Kobe feels different from Vince carter, different speed, different dribble,and the way you will play them is different. Also every game I played felt different from each other, which I can't say I've noted before.
