I'm looking for DVD/BD racks. I live in Newmarket (north of Toronto). I have roughly 400 DVD's and BD's. Of course it has to be stable. Not taller than 5'5 or 5' wide. Preferably available in a dark brown finish. If not then black. Can be made of metal.

Didn't see anything worthy from IKEA. Their website only lists 3. That hold I think not more than 10 each.

Did spot a few online shops. But would prefer to walk into to a shop and pick it up. Just in case there are missing parts and I need to exchange.

Botlz is nice but overpriced.

What about those white metal mesh racks you see in DVD rental shops? Does any one know where to get them in Toronto or online?

Flipping through a sears catalog and they had a couple to choose from that looked like they held a bunch. Could be worth checking out a local sears store, or at least their catalog.

Checked www.sears.ca. They have dvd "drawers". Not exactly what I want.

Have yet to check Wal Mart. Holding 360 each? Perfect. Hope they aren't too tacky looking.

It may pricey, but you can try Liptions. They are in the newmarket plaza.

Lipton's is where I bought most of my gear. :) But as for stands I don't think they have anything priced reasonably. They do carry hi-end furniture brands like Salamander. And I don't think the other brands they carry make racks.

But thanks for the idea. There must be a few shops locally the DVD shops buy from who also sell to consumers. Now to find out who they are. :)

Not sure if you saw this one or not on the sears.ca site...

Thanks roar. Don't know how I managed to miss this webpage. But the $250 version is said to hold 400. Which is more than enough for me.

Will check the Sears location at the Upper Canada Mall or buy it online.
