Got a e-mail a few days ago from Pinnacle to pre-order Studio Ultimate 14. I might bite. It went from 12 to 14. They skipped 13. Here's to AVCHD editing improvments:D

Same thing... just a different color. It still downmixes 5.1 surround to stereo on import and it still lacks additional tracks. They apparently have also removed its ability to work with SmartSounds

No serious improvements at all to speak of.

I purchased Studio 14 - big mistake. The application has lots of bugs and on a project of any size, it becomes incredibly slow! Check out their own forums and search for "slow". Worse part is, customer service is horrible!

I also have Studio 14. As stated 'big mistake'. Save your money, it's a total waste of time and hard disk space. That's why I un-installed it and went to Neo 2.5. Great piece of software which meets my needs.
