I'm changing the wall my TV is mounted on, and am pre-wiring to do so. I currently have my Metrocast cable box - Motorola DC6416 III hooked up via component cable. I had it through HDMI, but was encountering all kinds of freezing issues, especially when I changed channels.

I have everything running through a Yamaha RXV-1600 AV receiver, and my TV is a 42" Hitachi.

I'd like to have the HDMI running, but its inoperable. Any ideas?
