After a remarkable amount of requests from fans, Warner Home Entertainment Group has announced the release of a large number of rare and classic films to DVD.
As part of the Warner Archive Collection, films such as Wrestling Ernest Hemingway and Men Don’t Leave will debut on DVD through its manufacturing on-demand service at WarnerArchive.com. The DVDs are priced at $19.95 plus shipping, and digital copies are $14.95.
Among the releases available Sept. 15 are the “Dogville Comedies,” created by Zion Meyers and Jules White and shown in theaters from 1930-1931; the cult classic Angus; the film noir classic Killer McCoy, starring Andy Rooney; and cult skateboearder movie Airborne, starring a very young Seth Green, Shane McDermott and Jack Black. Already available is the 52-short film “Our Gang” collection.
