I have a Hauppauge recorder express card which has been set up to work with Windows Media Center. I can't figure out where the shows are being stored, therefore can't send them out to an external harddrive for storage. Neither can I edit them without this knowledge apparently -- Windows Media Center does not provide a "SEND TO" option when right-clicking on the program, only a burn-to-DVD option, which introduces timing errors and still does not seem to allow editing and won't just cut-off material it has no room for -- if ithe program is too long for the DVD space, it won't burn it without reducing the quality.
