I need to replace my 8mm camcorder and am totally overwhelmed. Initially I thought I wanted a Sony mini DV but am now reconsidering. I mostly take the kids and their soccer games or school programs. I don't need high definition and would prefer to not use our computor for storing or editing. What is the best type and brand to look at. Thank you!
