I need a 4-pole 3.5 mm jack extension cabl (male to female), but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I have searched eBay like crazy, but the closest I have gotten is a male to male. Has anybody here seen something like that?

I would say monoprice.com -- they have several 3.5mm male-female extensions though I will admit ignorance on the 4 pole requirement.

Maybe better for me to ask -- what's the difference between a 4 pole minijack and the typical minijack. I did a quick Google/Wiki search, but nothing I could decipher showed up on the top few selections. Is this for Audio+Video for a camcorder or IPod Vid device?
