I own a Pioneer DV-LX50, it's one of the best DVD Players out there i believe.
But when i was playing Star Wars Episode 1 for example it looked like the picture was not right and colors we're a little saturated.
I was using a normal HDMI cable with 1.1 profile.
When i connected a 1.3b HDMI cable, i was amazed.
And these cables are like 50 Pounds on ebay...

I tough i would have to sell it and go back with the PS3 upscaling but now this is a hell of a player.

In the US, this player is called the Pioneer Elite DV-58AV. It's basicly the same player. It uses the same firmware. Its only differences are that the DV-LX50 can output Pal and NTSC, can be made multi-region via a special IR service code, and has different power requirements. A huge thread already exists for this player here at AVS.
