Agreed, that is a total deal breaker.

But imagine 6 or 9 projectors stacked up across a gigantic wall...

Or even old-style video cubes. To be able to do that on the cheap is pretty spiffy.

I saw a 2 panel demo of this at CES last year. I agree, 6 or 24 CRT rear projection cubes like Barco used to make with minimal gaps between screens would be the way to go.
