Hi,
I have a question regarding my TV 3:2 reverse pulldown option.
I have an 42LG50 which has an option call Real Cinema which does a reverse 3:2 pulldown on 24p original sources presented in interlaced format (for example, if I watch a movie on the cable output in 1080/60i --interlaced 3:2 pulldown--, it is supposed to do a reverse 3:2 pulldown, so I can watch the movie in 1080/60p without interlacing artifacts).
However, on the cable, original sources formats vary from 24p (certain TV shows, movies) to 30p (video). If I leave the Real Cinema option On all the time what will happen to 30p original sources?
I observed that 30p original sources that do not need reverse 3:2 pulldown appear smoothed out when Real Cinema is ON. Is it normal or is it because the TV applies incorrectly a 3:2 reverse pulldown on a source that does not need it?
Thanks in advance
