I'm running Mythbuntu based on Ubuntu 9.04. The signal strength for all channels is displayed as 0% even though the channels I do receive look fine. Is this a bug? Is it documented anywhere, or is there a way around it? I know it's a fairly insignificant problem (compared to some of the other problems I faced in getting it to work), but it would be nice to know what the real reading is, in case I decide to re-orient my antenna.
I'm using a Hauppauge HVR-1250 tuner card.
Thanks.

This has always been a bug, no matter what version of Myth.
To adjust your antenna use a little app called azap. I've given instructions here several times before.

More than likely an issue with v4l/your tuner driver/firmware, not a bug in mythtv itself. I've had a Haup analog tuner and a dvico and neither of them have had the issue.
I'd just go for the eye test, if it looks good the antenna is in the right place :)

Thanks guys.
It's a minor annoyance. I can live with it. I just thought there might be a fix.

there is not a single software in this world which is bug free
