I love this site and threads on the DVD recorders. I also love http://www.videohelp.com/. I especially like the way thread discussions "pop-up" when you hover over the thread link with your mouse. You can see not only the initial post but the most current reply. This saves time on clicking and opening posts in threads because you only need to do that if you are replying or opening a new one.

Is there any way this site can have this option of seeing the post by hovering your mouse over the thread? just curious!!!:rolleyes:

I find pop-ups intrusive and annoying.

These are only (hover over posts without opening to read them to see if you are interested). They are totally non-intrusive. All other advertising site pop-ups are very annoying, this I agree with you on.

I've seen this suggested in the AVS Forums Operation Center forum (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=43). The response from our top guy(David) was while it would be nice(as I agree) it would take too much resources. AVS is apparently much larger than VideoHelp or other sites that have the hover feature.
