Direct Tv, Verizon Fios etc all have it up for purchase already. According to that link says its available called and was linked to comcast which said its not available?

No reason to believe that it will be absent this year (since it's really from the inDemand group including a few cable companies). I saw a news posting about Verizon adding NBA TV and NBA League Pass for this season (which doesn't start for another month, so give them time to get the space allocated).

I just called Comcast (I'm in Chicago). The rep told me it won't be available until Monday 10/12. I asked about early bird special and he said they will have one, but not sure of pricing yet.

Yeah, because they're doing it just to aggravate you. Couldn't be a good reason....

I was finally able to order it yesterday, in hopes of maybe catching a preseason game here and there. Turns out the channels aren't even activated till the 27th, the channels are all blank. All while Dish and who knows how many other cable companys are able to already access tons of preseason games. This sucks.

I don't think they show pre season games on nba league pass, just regular season. At least according to the league pass website http://www.indemand.com/sports/nba/ . So I don't think all the Comcast bashing is valid in this case.

I know people who have Dish League Pass and they're getting preseason games. Emailed NBA LP and they said it's all up to the provider. Bashing = valid.

On Dish's NBA League Pass they have been showing 1 preseason game a night, all in SD so far.

Yessir I'm an NBA Junkie! But of course I can wait just thought it was dumb comcast doesnt air anything period...for the price paid for League Pass we should get a preseason game here and there, ah well.

doesn't NBATV have some games? there's not exactly a ton of preseason games on TV in the entire schedule. League Pass wouldn't (though it could be a cool free preview to do that).

I've had LP on Directv for the last several years, and they recently added HD channels for the package. Now I have Comcast (not of choice). Do they have any LP channels in HD or have plans to in the near future?
