SNF Mixer 09-27-09, 04:12 PM Hi from the desert. It's 100 here in the parking lot; a chilly 71 inside. I'll look in later.

coyoteaz 09-27-09, 04:49 PM Good thing they got that new stadium built. 105 degrees at kickoff would be murder in Sun Devil Stadium.
Go Cards!
ABCTV99 09-27-09, 08:30 PM so far audio sounds great. PQ decent too. Watching on FIOS.
Looks and sounds great, WDIV-DT NBC Detroit via Comcast.
Hard to overstate just how much better NBC HD is for live sports than before MPEG4.
musicdoc 09-27-09, 08:39 PM Same problem as last week: Spanish audio coming coming through main, and English coming through SAP. Major inconvenience because when surfing, I must go to SAP each time in order get English play by play. The problem seems to be limited to my Sony XBR; I have Cablevision in Merrick, NY. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

I wish that were true here in Chicago.... I may have to switch the Desperate Housewives! :D

Yes. Wave3 in Louisville via D* getting spanish audio coming through at the same time. Wave is running an apology ticker.
On the stereo feed which I am listening, the crowd noise is almost totally drowning out the announcers. I assume that is a part of the AZ crowd being loud.
WEEK-TV, Peoria, via Comcast Cable

First complaint of the night. Others, let me know, please. Thanks.

Y2JDMBFAN 09-27-09, 10:11 PM I've got lots of clicks/pops on my audio here with DirecTV. MPEG-4 NBC-Chicago...HR21-100...Was especially noticeable when Costas was just interviewing Rex Ryan...Harder to tell during game action...Not sure if this is a DirecTV issue or something with my setup...
First complaint of the night.
Sorry if that came out wrong as not sure I was complaining (as I very much appreciate your artistic work!)
Having said that, the announcers are a little more pronounced now. But for whatever reason, is seems that for this Sun game that the crowd - when Indy is on offense mainly - is loud. And it overtakes the announcers on occasion. I just went and listened on a small bedroom set and it isn't quite as dramatic but same thing.
I think we all appreciate you checking in for feedback on this forum.
Again, watching via WEEK, Peoria, via Comcast cable.
SNF Mixer 09-27-09, 10:47 PM No problem. Appreciate the feedback.
musicdoc 09-27-09, 11:06 PM SNF Mixer - Are you aware of the SAP problem? The Spanish broadcast is coming through on the main language setting on my Sony. The only way I can get the English broadcast is by using the alternate language setting on my TV. This only happens on NBCHD and only on Sunday night football. Standard NBC is fine. Anything you can do about that?

Read about that. NY reports we are good, including SAP. I can ask around after the game.
Johnny5.1 09-27-09, 11:17 PM Awesome broadcast once again, my eyes and ears are very happy. Too bad that other network with the night games doesn't produce such a high end product.
Charter Cable Los Angeles
Johnny5.1 09-27-09, 11:19 PM there is some amazing audio coming from the players on the field, like they are wearing microphones!
