I'm not sure where to post this but here's my questions.
I'm looking for a cheap solution for a quality computer camera and I already have a tuner card that accepts rca video and s-video inputs so can you guys help me out with this?
http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-D-460-Digital-Camera-Optical/dp/B00004R8VC/ref=cm_srch_res_rtr_1
There is an output for a video stream on this camera but I don't know if once it's hooked through it if it will still send the video signal as it's seen on the LCD or does it switch to some special mode where you can't view a live video feed from the camera anymore? Also the camera itself doesn't support video recording.
Technical specs from manufacturer's site:

If it won't work, then does anyone got any advise on which camera in the cost range from $20 to $40 is actually right for what I'm looking for?
Thanks!
