Sorry for the late start, I knew I was forgetting something today.

For some reason the audio on this show sounds better to me this year. More dynamic and full range than in the past. But I think last week looked better even though this stadium is well lit as well.

Picture looks dull to me. Watching on D* on Sony 60" SXRD. I flip over to YES and this looks like what HD is supposed to look like.

Just glad to be on the sofa watching someone else's work.

Would someone please tell Gruden to close his legs when the camera is on the announcers? kkthxbai

My thoughts exactly, blame it on the closed roof. Picture looked prestine when NBC SNF set up shop there last week. Another dull image from ESPN.

That is not as bad as seeing Matt Millen on the pregame show. They should ban him from football.

When are we going to hear ESPN admit that there is a pq problem???

Do these people have hdtv's at home so they can see what the hell everyone else is seeing or are they too damn busy trying to figure out how to fit every graphic under the sun into my HDTV!!!!!!

I have been watching game all night on 2 different sets in my home and the pq is good. I have an older rear pro lcd and a new panasonic plasma with D*. When I had cable the pq was much better but still looks good even on the relic rear-pro.

I'm wondering why ESPN feels it is necessary to have two play clocks on the screen when it is under 10 seconds left...it's just annoying. especially when one is red...

Wish you'd had that idea before he came to Detroit.

Saw a lot of aliasing on the lines on the field, like the cameras were capturing in 1080i and then the video converted to 720p. My STB was set to 720p output mode going to my 1080p TV, so it wasn't anything on my end causing that. I've used the same setup for hundreds of college games on the ESPN networks, FSN, etc, without issue, so I'm wondering if that might have been part of the issue. The picture didn't look nearly as good tonight as it did for the BYU-Oklahoma game a few weeks back.

Watching via FiOS in Dallas.

That's the case with every one of their games. The field level cameras look fine, but the upper cameras look as though they're letting in too much light or something. Some of the ESPN college games look better than MNF games do.

All someone had to do is watch the ESPN college game last night between Colorado and West Virginia to see how a game should look. MNF needs to take a cue from the college crew.
