I recall reading somewhere, some time back about someone having asked about this problem before. It seems that when you are recording for a long period of uninterrupted time, the SR11 will subdivide the resulting recording every 15 minutes or so into segments. This results in small interruptions in the both the sound and the picture, when trying to make a continuous product on a DVD.
Is there a way around this? I would like to know the next time I record a concert.

I record soccer games and sport events in general at night. Concerts too.
I can not get the sanyo hd2000 because it divides videos in 4gb segments and when creating the new file, we are going to use footages.

Does the Canon HF s11 have the same problem ?
