I have been experiencing usually one-two dropouts per movie with my 3808ci and BH200. Originally, they were with a Zenith/LG plasma (about 4 years old). They rolled over to my new Samsung PN58B550.

In looking at another issue and playing with various settings, I determined that even when the scaler is off, the 3808ci still does some processing. There is a setting per input that you need to turn off

Somewhere in the menu (and I am terrible at describing this) but if you go to
source select > your input for the blu ray (mine is dvd ) > other > video convet > off

this seems to have dropped my dropouts (no pun intended).

I have tried several blu rays where I had random dropouts, and these seemed to have disappeared.
