So my KRP-500M arrived today from VE and everything looks great but I want to plug it in and check.

Now here is the issue. There was a delay and the lift that the TV is to be mounted to is delayed 2 weeks.

Any suggestions?

My first thought was to leave it in the bottom part of the box but I can't find the SD card and the IR sensor will be blocked.

We have hard wood floors throughout the house.

No SD on the 500M. I think if you make sure that no vents are covered you could certainly test it.

That explains why I could not find it in the manual :)

Makes testing it both easier and more difficult.
