Does anyone have any experience using a Cannon HG10 (or similar HD camcorders) outdoors? I will be using it tonight at a high school football game (dusk / after dark w/ stadium lights) and tomorrow during the day at another high school football stadium.

I was curious if there were any settings anyone found of value to get the best picture.

Thanks!

Basically I would just leave it at the auto settings for your daytime shooting, the HG10 does a excellent job at this, evening and nightime shots require a little tweeking...I love my HG10 as well as my HG21 both are steller camcorders.....

Try the exposure trick to ensure you are at F1.8. I get excellent night-time results with F1.8 and 60 frames a second.
