hi I am looking for a projector for my restaurant/bar. I have a private room that holds 80 people with windows that are tinted on one side of the wall. ceiling is black. there is mild light through the tint but would like to play football games and other sports through a projector. What would be the best projector to buy without killing my pockets and show a clear picture on screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure of the answer to your question, but whether you allow smoking in your bar is sure to be an important detail.

You can rule out DLP's. With 80 people at least some are going to complain of rainbows and headaches.

Yeah, for a large crowd you'd might want LCD, for a cheap LCD projector that does 1080p the BenQ W500 might be a good pick, the Viewsonic Pro8100 may be a good choice as well! They are both around the same price range, there are a few differences between the two though. You may compare the two features of the projectors yourself = )

They are both in the $1,000 ~ $1,400 range!
