I need your help. I am looking for some speakers to go beside a new TV my Mum just bought. She is having trouble hearing dialog clearly from TV's internal speakers, volume is not an issue, well she has to turn it up pretty loud to hear the dialog. She sits about 16' away from the TV and the room is about 25'x25'. Not looking for reference or even close to reference ;), I just want to get lot better than the TVs internal speakers... here are some guide lines

Small - 10" max in any direction, the smaller the better
active speaker
price range - $150-$200 street price for a pair.
Will be used 100% for TV, no music.
Clear highs and mids more important than low end.

Some speakers that I have read about

Audioengine A2 - I have trouble thinking a speaker this size would fill a large room and the big brother A5 pushes the budget.
Samson MediaOne 4A - Auditioned fairly well and priced $150

I'm not looking for "the best" just some good options to check out. thanks in advance.

If you can tuck a small subwoofer away somewhere the Klipsch promedia 2.1 would be a good option. http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/promedia-2-1-overview/

Best bang for the buck is the Logitech line. The aren't the best quality but you will get acceptable results for a very reasonable price.
