I have a Pioneer SC-07 with an HTPC connected in my living room. I've run zone 2 S/PDIF to a Marantz 7000 in my office, and often RDP into the HTPC to play radioparadise, Pandora, NPR, etc... It would be very handy, if I could connect the HTPC directly into the SC-07 serial port or RC5 jack from the HTPC and control it with software via RDP (rather than trying to muck with multiple remotes and IR extenders). Is there any software that will do this for me? I found roamingremote, but I don't need or want this in my phone, I just want to run an app via RDP. Any one know of anything like this? It's a difficult thing to google for, since you end up with all the do-it-yourself RC5 receivers...
