Hi

Some months ago my projector got blue dots on it's screen. At first it was just some few at the bottom of the screen, but now it's spread to the whole screen. It looks like this: (this is just a picture I found on the web, it's not exactly how it looks like)

So, I searched the web for: "Blue dots on projector", "Dead pixels" and etc... didn't find anything useful. Most people said it was too hard to repair, or that it would cost too much.

But I decided to open my projector and tried to found out what's wrong, and then I found three colored "glassbricks" in front of three small LCD screens (RGB) that had these blue dots on it. So I took them out of the projector and then turned it on; Now the blue dots was gone, but the colors on the screen was messed up.

So the thing I need, is replacements for these three "glassbricks". Can someone please help me to find out where I can buy these and what these glassbricks are called?

Those are Polarizers. And unless you can get Hitachi to sell them to you (assuming they're available), you're out of luck. I checked my supplier and they don't list them.
